Meet Liz Gatt

Thanks for visiting my website. I would like to offer you the warmest welcome to my world of stitching! I consider myself an artist that pours my creative skills into upholstery, outdoor covers and soft furnishings for boats, mobile homes, and the home and garden.

 

I have been passionate about sewing since I was a child. At the age of ten, I was already using my mother's sewing machine to make doll's clothes. As a teenager, I was making my own clothes and as an adult, I began making artistic deco for events as a hobby.

 

As time passed, I became more and more fascinated with larger sewing projects. As I was making soft furnishings, I discovered that upholstery is my true passion. I eventually left my professional career and embarked on a mission to learn from local upholsterers and took professional training in the UK.

 

Today, I feel proud to share my work, creating  covers for boats, soft furnishing for interiors of boats, campers and caravans as well as upholstery and covers for the home and garden.   ​
